Safety & Trust at Go Errand

We want customers to feel informed and confident before they book. Here is how we approach provider review, what our verification badges mean, and what to keep in mind when evaluating a provider.

An Important Note

Go Errand does not guarantee the quality of any provider's work. Verification badges indicate only that a specific check was completed and reviewed by Go Errand at the time shown. They are not endorsements, warranties, or guarantees of future performance. Customers should review all available profile information and use their own judgment when selecting a provider.

How Go Errand Reviews Provider Information

When a provider applies to join Go Errand, they submit information about their services, experience, service area, and — where applicable — credentials or licenses. Our team reviews submitted information before it appears on a provider's public profile.

1

Application review

Every provider completes an application that includes their services, service area, and relevant background. We review this information before activating a profile.

2

Document review

When a provider submits a license, certification, or other credential, our team reviews the document. If the review is completed, the corresponding badge appears on the profile along with the date it was reviewed.

3

Work samples

Providers may submit photos of past work. These are reviewed before being displayed on the public profile. Work samples are intended to give customers a sense of a provider's experience — they are not a guarantee of results.

4

Customer reviews

Customers who have used a provider through Go Errand can leave a rating and comment. Reviews are associated with the service performed and are visible on the provider's profile.

What Verification Badges Mean

Badges appear on a provider's profile only when Go Errand has completed and documented the corresponding check. A badge is never displayed based on a provider's self-report alone.

Identity Reviewed

Go Errand has reviewed documentation confirming the provider's identity. This does not constitute a background check or criminal history review.

License Reviewed

The provider submitted a professional license or certification relevant to their listed services, and Go Errand reviewed it. The review date is shown on the profile. Go Errand does not verify that a license remains current after the review date.

Work Samples Reviewed

The provider submitted photos of past work, and Go Errand reviewed them before displaying them on the profile.

Background Check

The provider consented to and completed a third-party background check, and Go Errand received the results. The scope and provider of the background check are noted on the profile where available. This badge is displayed only when a check has been completed — not when one is pending.

Reviewing a Provider's Work

Each provider profile includes a portfolio section where reviewed work samples are displayed. You can browse photos of past projects to get a sense of the provider's experience and style.

Work samples are submitted by the provider and reviewed by Go Errand before being shown. They represent work the provider has reported completing — Go Errand does not independently verify the circumstances of each project shown.

Not every provider will have work samples. A profile without samples does not mean the provider is unqualified — it may simply mean they have not yet submitted photos for review.

Questions About Safety or Trust?

If you have a concern about a provider, a review, or the information displayed on a profile, contact Go Errand directly. We take accuracy seriously and will review any concern submitted to us.
